As we look forward to the Thanksgiving season, the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you–the students and teachers who attend the tournament, the bid schools who host qualifiers to the tournament, and our Executive Board and Committee members who are some of the best teachers in Oral Interpretation in the country–for making the NIETOC the largest tournament of champions and one of the best national tournament experiences offered.

As we look forward to the Thanksgiving season, the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you–the students and teachers who attend the tournament, the bid schools who host qualifiers to the tournament, and our Executive Board and Committee members who are some of the best teachers in Oral Interpretation in the country–for making the NIETOC the largest tournament of champions and one of the best national tournament experiences offered.

 

From the beginning, the NIETOC envisioned providing unique experiences for students in Oral Interpretation. NIETOC makes possible networking opportunities, college scholarships, and workshops guided by master teachers and celebrities, as well as opportunities of renewal for teachers. We continue to offer top-quality lodging at affordable prices, unique crystal trophies, and above all, the awareness that the NIETOC Board is here to serve and honor those schools that attend our tournament.

 

We now look forward to the 2017 NIETOC in Kansas City, MO hosted by Liberty North High School.

Josephine Dukes spent a majority of her life giving, loving and serving her community. She believed “first you have to love the student, then and only then, can you teach them.” We are seeking teachers who exemplify learning, love, community, optimism, generosity and respect for all.
