THANK YOU to all of those who attended this year’s NIETOC in Omaha, Nebraska. We are grateful that so many of you joined us for a great weekend of competition.
CONGRATULATIONS to all participants in the 2019 NIETOC tournament. Sharing your own stories and those of your characters makes the world a better place and reminds us all that words matter!
BRAVO to all the coaches and judges who do such amazing and important work impacting the lives of these students.
CHEERS to Sabrina Denney Bull and Jackson Gzehoviak of Millard North and their team of students and parents for being incredibly gracious hosts. A special shout-out to Viji Purushothaman and the American Desi dancers for creating a fantastic Bollywood number for our awards ceremony. We also appreciate the leadership of Principal Brian Begley, who is a constant supporter of competitive speech and debate.
SALUTATIONS to all our workshop presenters – we appreciate your commitment to furthering the educational mission of our organization.
HOORAY to all underclassmen in main event semifinals or finals, as you are automatically qualified for 2020! Those who advanced to octa- or quarter-finals already have one bid for your trip to Houston.
